broadfork farm and gardens

Welcome to broadfork. We are a small diversified family farm and homestead, practicing restorative agriculture, low-till gardening, and season extension. We raise Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, American Guinea Hogs, laying hens, meat birds, rabbits, geese, and ducks.

We offer seasonal farm products, eggs, chicks and ducklings, piglets, and registered goat kids. Duck eggs are available spring to fall. We also offer natural home and body care products, like goats’ milk soap, and herbal insect repellent. We are still growing, and may offer a limited number of CSA shares in the future.

Nigerian Dwarf stud service is available upon request. We offer both ‘driveway’ service, and buck rental to clean herds. We have two bucks, both dual registered. Visit our goat page to meet them.

From time to time, we also offer homesteading workshops and classes to help reskill folks in the forgotten arts. Some topics include food preservation, soap making, small-scale poultry processing, dairy and cheese making, fermentation, gardening and season extension. Many others are available upon request. If we know how to do it, we’d be happy to set up a workshop to teach you how, too.

Broadfork is open by appointment or by chance. Stop by if you’re in the neighborhood, or send us an email for more information.
